Events and Activities

Our aim at Wylds Farm has always been to create a Family Festive Experience which both adults and children enjoy and one that you’ll all remember for years to come.  The Farm is a magical place and we endeavour, each year, to keep the true family feel and spirit of the farm alive.  This year, we  have wreath-making & felting workshops as additional events and enjoyed hosting lots of you at the annual Launch Evening on November 10th.

Felt Workshop

We are very pleased to welcome artisan felt maker Katrin Eagle whose beautiful felt Father Christmas’s, Angel’s and Nativities flew out of the shop last year.  This year, Katrin will run workshops where you can make your very own Christmas Gnome.  All materials will be provided plus small refreshments.  Booking is essential: The workshops will be on the 7th and 12th of December 10.30-1pm.  £30 per person including all materials.

Wreath Making Workshops

Get ready for Christmas and learn how to make a beautiful festive door wreath at Wylds Farm using blue spruce and a variety of foliage. Then, decorate your handmade wreath with pine cones, dried oranges, cinnamon sticks and a variety of other embellishments. All materials and tools are provided as well as mulled wine, tea & coffee plus some delicious homemade cakes. Just wear some not-too-precious clothes and come along for a fun few hours.

Take away your creation to decorate your home or give as a gift.  Booking is essential and places go fast.

Launch Party

Friday Nov 10th | 6:30 – 9:30 pm
On Friday, November 10th we welcomed many of you down to Wylds for our annual Launch Event and celebrated together with live music from The Cheers who entertained, with delicious street food from  Cara Gorda Cantina, mulled drinks , hot chocolate and some seasonal shopping in our gift shop.  It was a great family evening and a super, little start to the season so, thank you, all of you folks who dressed warm and came to join us around the fire braziers. We hope you all had a great time.
